1) This is true; I did not ask for a game long pact, simply for you to (as you kids say) GTFO and STFO. But your point is taken, #1 is off the table. Call it a gift. You can resume hostilities at any point. We've seen how that goes.

4) Good. We plan to vote against the IL this turn due to his support of your motion during your "invasiony thingy", so he'll likely want to use that vote this month. That should clear up potential conflicts down the road.
5) It is written in the most ancient of scrolls that we should only recognize the lexicon according to Webster. However, our wise men also allow for the use of the holy tome known as the Scrabble Dictionary. We look forward to reading it.
6) I shan't be returning all of your relatives. That would hardly teach the lesson you desperately need to learn. You may have either the two that start with E or Adonis and his son Klyde. But not until turn 13, and only in exchange for both the Key as well as the short name of the Staff. I would need to confirm with the council of rulers that the short names of both would not need to be disclosed publicly as that doesn't seem appropriate... but things aren't done the same now as they were before the Great Sleep. Should they desire public disclosure I fear we may not have a deal and my guests shall remain my guests, albeit with slightly upgraded accommodations.

Maybe in your day assuming was a good thing. But we do not want the AN to vote for this vote. We will hold that chip until we wish to and not when some foreign power wishes it.

If the soggy one hadn't have been so cheap and offered a terrible deal. 500 more gold and information on a town that he does not own, is not anywhere near my area, and by taking it would put me at war with another nation, he may have gotten my vote. If he wants to try and punish us for looking after our own best interest, that is not only fine but laughable.

Our Hostilities as you call it is our nature.  They have been directed elsewhere.  I would agree to give you my vote this turn on these conditions.  Since I have set up a Standing order for our initial trade, make this trade 20,000 (not 10,000) food for 1 gold a separate one time trade.  I realize it utilizes another order, but I would have to use two and then again another next turn to change my Standing order.  If you agree to this, then we have an accord and you will have my vote.

The term is agreeable but I offered an additional 10K food. So the order would be for 30K food for 1 gold. If that is still agreeable. We will also change it back next turn.
