Companion Recruiting

Most require a "Captain" and brigades. Is that a real Captain per the new rankings, or a Captain by the old ranks - nowadays a Centurion?

pretty sure its a captain by the new rankings and a centurion will not cut it.

I can verify it is a captain by the contemporary ranks. Centurions cannot do any kind of recruiting, either human or companion.
