Patrols, Morale & Forced March

Hi all,

I noticed that my patrols ending in a friendly region still have only 100% morale (i.e. it does not go up). So, must a group have troops in order for morale to vary from 100%?

And if that is the case, does that mean a patrol can force march without incurring the -7% drop in morale?

Morale and attrition are brigade attributes, not group attributes.

I can't find the rules on a patrol being attacked. Is it possible?

No, only by Kill Leader/Wizard spells from a group across from you.

It's on page 10 of the General Rules, under the Group section.  Patrols cannot attack or be attacked.  The wizards may cast spells for and against them.

I started playing Alamaze in 1993 or so and have read the rules dozens of times. I learn something new each time.
