Military Tradition 5th group issues

Recently military tradition kingdoms were given a 5th group. This group is not on my turn results. With one through four groups active, I receive an error message that there is no empty group at my capitol for reinforcements. I can successfully transfer assets to the inactive 5th group, but I cannot then issue a movement order to this group. The inactive 5th group is not in my military actions menu and when I click on "extra order" it only allows me to choose from groups one to four even though I have issued a "transfer to inactive group" order into the 5th group.

As posted with the January Changes, games already in progress would not gain a 5th group. Always, a request to review a turn result should first be reviewed about three times by the player, and then should always be sent to support.  No one on the forum can fix a problem, although 95% of the time it is not an actual problem.  Why post on the forum?

When a player has really read through his results, and feels support can answer something specific for him, please provide the position, game number, persona, email, and what specifically you think is incorrect and what should have happened.

Ok. In my turn results it lists a 5th group and as I stated it allows transferring items into this group.

I guess I assumed since the magic changes affected games in progress then the military changes did as well.

No, its just the forum cannot help you with a turn problem. 
As posted above and discussed elsewhere, games started before the 5th group was added to Military Tradition kingdoms will not get a fifth group in the middle of the game.  The fifth group has to be created when the game is created.
