Ok, so the calculator is beyond awesome but I believe I've come across my first bad result.
Plugged in a certain 171 proposition into the calculator and it said 'success' across the board. Double checked all the numbers, not a capital and no Emmy status Quo. Given the circumstances I can understand this 171 failing in real life (lol) but the calculator said I was good.
This happened in Game 174. Anyone not in the game want to double check for me? I also actually used a Wizard higher than the calculator said I would need and still failure.
Maybe I'm missing something or maybe there is a glitch.

Did you check this also?
* A Population Center cannot be taken via 170 or 171, if all three (3) of these statements are TRUE.
1. The Population Center is owned by the Regional controller.
2. The Population Center owner has declared you as an Enemy.
3. The Population Center owner is Friendly in the region.

It got me once too. :-)
I have considered the next time that I update the calculator, I should add a check box at the top that you have to click to acknowledge that you thought about this before the calculator will give you results...

This is possible.
1 and 2 are surely TRUE. But i successfully denigrated this kingdom last turn so I don't really see how he could be friendly at the beginning of the turn.

If you are sure that he was not Friendly in his region and sure that the PC was not his capital, then you may have a problem. I am not in Game 174 if you want to send me your last 2 turns and any recent turn where you reconned the PC.
