Order of Precedence

Comment: It would be nice if at least this information were contained generically in the Commands guide. This is very general inforamtion that a new player can benefit from in the Command guide. The orders cheat sheet would be nice to have this also.

Question:

If I transfer a wizard from Group 1 to Group 4 on the turn that a spell is cast, what is the order of precedence - the spell first or the transfer? Since the transfer order comes before 799, then I am assuming that the Group number should be #4, correct?

Additionally, Column B guidance is not clear. If I have two power 1 wizards in Group 1, and I say "1", then does the code randomly assign which wizard is trained? This directions appear to give me this choice. Will the order fail? It would seem that I would want to use the wizards initials. However, I would like to understand how the other option works for Column B.

Look at the number of the order. The lower number goes first every time. In your transfer scenario, the Group # would be 4.

It doesn't matter which of your P-1s cast a particular spell. It randomly picks one. There is NO DOWNSIDE to this. It really doesn't matter.

It is probably safer to use the wizard names (first 2letters) if there is a chance of multiple same level wizard confusion and group transfers. I typically only use power levels with my orders, but the player cannot control which wizard will cast the specific spell this way. The wizard is flagged as having cast the spell, so it will follow the wizard across groups.
